Harry Flam is Professor Emeritus of International Economics. His research has mostly dealt with international trade theory and policy and with European economic integration.

Flam has held visiting positions at Tel-Aviv University, Stockholm School of Economics, and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He has been a member of government commissions, dean of the Stockholm University School of Business, chairman of the Swedish Fiscal Policy Council and is currently Senior Adviser at the Swedish Institute of European Policy Studies (SIEPS) and editor of the Nordic Economic Policy Review.
