Selene Ghisolfi joined the IIES in the fall of 2015 after two years of graduate studies at Stockholm University, and five years of undegraduate studies at Bocconi University, Milan, where she also worked one year as research assistant. She is interested in Development economics and aims to explain take-up and success of life-enhancing interventions through Network Analysis and Behavioral Economics. She is currently working on agricultural technology adoption in Uganda, community driven water sanitation in Bangladesh, and inter-ethnic academic peer effects in South Africa.
